
Sarah is the former founding CEO & Chief Rioter of sweetriot in NYC and a long time entrepreneur. Sarah is a global thinker, creative digital expert, and industry disruptor in consumer products and retail with work and travel experience in more than 90 countries.
Sarah recently built and sold sweetriot, a disruptive, socially conscious candy company. sweetriot sourced dark chocolate directly in Latin America, featured packaging by emerging artists, and used all-natural, organic, healthy ingredients. sweetriot was a Whole Foods partner for over 10 years and sold millions of units through out the USA.
Sarah is an early innovator in socially responsible mission based businesses and in capturing the hearts and minds of millennial consumers. sweetriot was a proudly certified B Corporation, Fair Trade, Organic, Women-Owned, and Inc. 500/5000 company. Sarah’s entrepreneurial work has been covered by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Today Show, Forbes, Fortune, and more.
An early Internet pioneer, Sarah began working with digital initiatives and the Internet with National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and was engaged early on at Yahoo! and Microsoft’s msn.com, designing and launching products and marketing programs for millions of consumers during the internet’s infancy in the late 1990’s.
Sarah is currently serving on the regional council of the global Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and on the Board of Directors of AIESEC Life. She is also an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at the Harvard Innovation Lab and Harvard Business School. Sarah has participated in the prestigious ‘Women on Boards’ Executive Education program at Harvard Business School.
Sarah grew up in Michigan close to her grandparents’ farm and has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors degree from The University of Michigan.
